AUGUST ART WORKSHOP
“Plein Air Painting: Capturing Light, Shadow and
Colors Outdoors”
An intensive outdoor painting workshop conducted
by John DeFrancesco
for intermediate and advanced artists who paint in oil,
acrylic, watercolor or pastel.

WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
- Emphasis on individual attention (class size limited to
9 artists).
- Instruction and demonstrations on how to quickly and accurately
capture light, shadow and color in fleeting outdoor conditions.
- Tips on techniques used by master plein air artists.
- Maximized painting time in an English and Tuscan garden
setting.
- Materials list in advance of workshop.
- Note-taking outline provided.
- Lunch provided. During lunch,
we’ll review paintings and enjoy a round-table discussion.
REGISTRATION
Workshop
fee is $55 (lunch and beverages included). Cancellation
policy: Fee is non-refundable. If we can fill your cancelled
spot prior to August 13, we will refund 50 percent of your
fee. Full-refund if workshop cancelled due to inclement weather.
